This is a group for veterans interested in learning tai chi (TaijiFit) the fun and easy way. All skill levels and ages are welcome. Beginners are more than welcome. Follow along without worrying about getting it "perfect." Get all the benefits of tai chi without having to memorize complex forms. It's all about getting into the flow. Great for people wanting to learn mindful movement for health and wellness, improve strength and balance, and movement to increase energy and vitality.
This is a 20 minute class that meets every Monday afternoon. It's great for beginners and those wanting to deepen their current Tai Chi Practice. It is currently a mixed class with veterans and non-veterans so all are welcome. It is in the shade outside but it might be helpful to bring your own water if you like.
We will be practicing on the patio on the side of CarePartners Physical Therapy North Clinic. The clinic is located facing the big parking lot closest to the highway/Merrimon Ave. When standing in the big parking lot facing the YMCA building, look to the left and the clinic is on the bottom floor with a ramp to the entrance. We will be on the side of the building to the left but feel free to come in to the PT clinic if you feel unsure where to go.
