Itinerary 8 days, 7 nights

Day 1 – (Fri) Feb 7th Belize
Welcome to Belize! A picturque ferry ride (90min) through the islands before arriving in San Pedro. Dine together to start our week. Welcome Dinner overlooking the water

Day 2 – (Sat) Feb 8th Golf carting around the island
We rent golf carts to explore the island. Off to the west side for the Secret Beach. Free time to rent water sports or just swim in the best waters on the island. We will have lunch at the beach before heading back to San Pedro for our food crawl dinner. Stopping for all the best eats on the Island. End the night with Rum&local beer “Belkin” while tubing in the water off the pier at Palapa Bar.

Day 3 – (Sun) Feb 9th Layback Sunday
Free day, go shopping in town, relax on the beach & meet for dinner.

Day 4 – (Mon) Feb10th The Hol Chan Marine Reserve
We’ll be sailing off towards the Belize Barrier reef. First stop is the Hol Chan Marine Reserve where you can expect to see angelfish, blue-striped grunts, schoolmaster snappers &’s also known for the green moray eels living in tiny caves along the wall.The Shark & Ray Alley is another of our stops within the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, this spot is known as the shark and stingray city of Belize! You’ll get the opportunity to swim with the harmless Nurse Sharks & Southern Stingrays, this is a spot not to be missed.The Coral Gardens are two & a half miles southwest of Shark & Ray Alley &due to extraordinary clear water you’ll be able to see the rainbow-like hues of the coral below, it’s an extremely special place.Last but not least, our sailboat ride home just before sunset.

Day 5 – (Tues) Feb 11th
Say goodbye to San Pedro and leaving for the main land. We will take our water taxi back the Belize city then take a bus to San Ignacio where we will be staying for the rest of our trip. After check-in we visit The Green Iguana Conservation Project, this is an interactive exhibit located at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel that gives visitors a closer look at the life of Green Iguanas. The venture aims to conserve & look after the endangered species by educating the public about the role Green Iguanas play in the ecosystem.

Day 6 – (Wed) Feb 12th San Ignacio ATM Caves
This morning you’ll get to step inside a cave featured as the #1 sacred cave destination in the world by The National Geographic. The Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave are not only unique geologically, but historically; the ATM caves serve as a natural museum of ancient Mayan artifacts & sacred burial place. You’ll hike 45-minutes through the jungle before taking a journey into the Mayan underworld, along with your local guide you’ll explore an extensive underground maze of tunnels, passageways and chambers, finishing in the ceremonial chamber where you’ll see stoneware, ceramics & the famed crystallized skeleton of the “Crystal Maiden.”

Day 7 – (Thurs) Feb13th
We visit the most dominant archaeological site in Belize, Caracol. During this half-day tour, you’ll learn about the anthropology, archaeology, & flora &fauna of the area, including rare & endangered wildlife such as Keel-billed Motmots, Tapirs, Jaguars, Oscillated Turkeys, Gibnut (the “Royal Rat”) & Coatimundis. If today were a movie it would be where James bond meets David Attenborough in Planet Earth—mystery, action and conservation all rolled into one! To end the day & our trip we will have our goodbye dinner together in town.

Day 8 - (Fri) Feb14th Transfer to the airport OR continue to Guatemala
