Champagne Buffet Brunch - Tibet Nepal House - Pasadena
The title pretty much says it all. Tibetian/Nepalese food Sunday champagne buffet brunch in Pasadena for a measly $10 bucks! Less than the cost of a fancy martini! For you tea toddlers, you can have soda instead. One glass of champagne, not unlimited. If you don't drink champagne, get it anyway and give it to your neighbor... or me! There's also several, perhaps many vegetarian options too! I love this cuisine and I don't get the chance to eat it very often. The food is very good as is the service... considering we overwhelmed them with our party of 35. It has a solid 4 Star Yelp rating.

I spoke to the owner and now, they will give everyone one free Yak momo no extra charge, so anyone that wants to try them can share an order for their adventure dining for the month. No... it's not as adventurous as SunNy's eating live octopus. But you'll have bragging rights at your next cocktail party.
I'm going to try to see if I can get them to let me designate a few of the dishes for our next event, now that they know we can crank out the numbers and fill the place.
This is a good, inexpensive way to try the place out and if you like it, you can return for a dinner on your own with friends/family and use one of the discount deals that are around.
Let's do tables of six so as to keep the conversations and the bills more manageable.
Meeting Time: 11:15am and then we will begin dining at 11:30am. If you are late, don't call me, just take your time and arrive when you can safely. Since it is a buffet, you won't miss out on any of the dishes, just some fine conversation and company of our friendly foodies. Yeah, it is early, but I like my buffet food fresh and hot right out of the kitchen and it really does make a big difference in the quality of the food, so I wanna get here early for the best quality food and while it's nice and hot. Also, if we will be a large group, we wanna be sure we all get seated.
No Guests: Sorry, this event is gonna max out, so if you want to bring a friend, they will have to join the group.
If you get lost or need directions, call the restaurant at (626) 585-0955
Optional: After this Himalayan culinary adventure, I plan to visit the LA Arboretum via Metro Gold Line and bike as I am a member and can bring a guest in free if anyone wants to go there after lunch, please email me. I'm taking my bike so if there are any others on two wheels, this would be a fun way to work off a big lunch.
Bring Cash: Please bring cash to pay your bill to make things a lot easier when it comes time to settle the bill. Sorry, no Groupons or Restaurant.com discounts allowed for the buffet (dammit). It's already a kick ass deal, right???
Parking: There is a structure North of Holly, on Raymond, on the left side. This is free for 90 minutes. They also validate if you park in the lot on the Northwest corner of Holly/Fair Oaks.
Public Transportation: This is about a block or two from the Metro Gold Line Memorial Park Station, so if you are near one of the Metrorail stops, you can buy an All Day pass for $5 and leave the car at home.
