Wow... I really hit the wall last night... I was soooo stuffed as was everyone sharing our hot pot. Anna and Lauren didn't want dessert they were so full as well. First time with fresh taro root and bamboo shoot and sliced dikon. That dikon was kinda amazing! It took on such a unctuous texture and absorbed the spicy broth flavors... I was surprised how good it was! We ordered medium spicy and it was just right! Hot pot season is here!

My first Hot Pot - enjoyed all of the food, particularly the lamb and shrimp.

Plentiful and nicely flavored. Spicy broth was definitely the way to go.

Darrell said it all! It's great meeting lots of new faces & old friends as well enjoyed all the good hot pot food. 8 of us shared a humongous snow ice bowl next door for dessert. And Gwen didn't even bat her eyelid finished up a big frosting toast in no time + a big drink... (:

Food was good. Ingredients fresh, proteins fresh. Great variety. Cheap beers, plenty of dipping sauces and a huge variety of healthy veggies such as bamboo shoots, lotus root, Taiwanese lettuce and cabbage, bok choy, tofu, fresh taro, seaweed, enoki, shitake and king oyster mushrooms... So good! We had lamb, beef, pork, shrimp, fish balls and much more!

Hahah, this is my first ever Asian Foodies event that I'm going to along with my friend Fred; will there be enough room for all of us? We're going to completely take over this restaurant! =P
