Asian Foodies 1st Dinner Gathering in 2013!

A brand new year for many more good eats to come in 2013!

I've been coming here with my family for ever as we always enjoy their Shanghai style culinary specialties such as Braised Pork Hock, Double-Flavor Shrimps, Tea Smoked Duck and many other varieties. Always a feast! Obviously our foodies family enjoyed it too from our previous visit. Be hungry!


** Cancellation after 12/30 is a no-show count

** Arrive promptly by 7pm as our feast will be started on time

** FAMILY STYLE dining is designated for this event. we're sharing all dishes and to split the food bill evenly. Be open minded for food varieties, and please respect your host helping out do the ordering, for the best dishes we get to taste if possible.

** CASH: Bring extra in small change to settle our food bill ($30 each by estimate)

** BYOB: NO CORKAGE FEE! You're encouraged to bring your favorite wine to pair with none-spicy Chinese Shanghai cuisine. Bring your own stem if you are a serious wino. (:

** PARKING: It's always free in San Gabriel Valley territory!

    A great way to begin the New year: intriguing conversations, "fun" new friends, and genuine good cheer from old friends, duck, dumplings, a whole fish in a gorgeous presentation, tender duck, side dishes, and a sticky rice dessert w/ red bean paste that was the cat's pajamas. The whole hapy gang was there. I had a terrific time. Thanks, Teri, for a terrific pick and all your thoughful planning.

    Excellent bargain for all sorts of great food in banquet style/size: Assorted Appetizer Platter, Spinach flavor Shrimp, Scallop w/snow Peas & Bamboo Shoots, Tea Smoked Duck, Bok Choy w/Shitaki Mushroom, Steamed Pork Knuckle, Shanghai Style Casserole, Soup Dumplings (XLB), Sea Bass and Red Bean Rice Cake for dessert! And we have great Cab n Champagne in our table.

    Thank you, Teri, for organizing this sumptuous feast. 2013: let's see, wiil it the Year Of the Tiger, or is that just my stomach rumbling over the thought of tea-smoked duck and double-flavored shrimp? Can't imagine a nicer group of foodies with whom to ring in the New Year. Can't wait to toast with my Asian foodie friends and meet the newer guests.
