What we're about

Previously sponsored by Asperger Experts and generously hosted for the past few years by the Coughlin family, I am carrying the torch and hope to keep the tradition going.

What to expect? The second Saturday of the month, I will host a meetup at my home. There will be snacks and drinks. You only need to bring yourself. If you are the parent of a child with Aspergers, you can come alone, bring your partner/child/siblings, etc. Up to you. As with the previous host family, some of us enjoyed bringing a dish that was special to us, a drink, or again, we just showed up, listened and spoke. Bring a toy, or not.

Other stuff: We have a pool. Please feel free to bring a suit/towel, and please monitor your children according to their level of confidence and skill in the water. We have a playroom, a backyard and a swing set -so, stuff for all ages.

Upcoming events (5+)

Meetup for Asperger families of the DMV (Previously Asperger Experts)

We were previously sponsored by Asperger Experts and generously hosted for a few years by the Coughlin family of Bethesda. We will continue to meet on the second Saturday of the month at my home in Potomac (on the Rockville side). We have a great space for adults to meet and chat, and for our aspie kids of any age to gather with or without siblings. It's a great social and learning opportunity, as well as a place to eat, drink and share.
