Many individuals with Asperger's Syndrome experience social isolation and rejection from friends and co-workers at some point in their lives. For Aspie Christians, the expectation is that the attempts we make at fellowship with other believers will not cause the same sorts of negative experiences. Unfortunately, this is quite often not the case.
Aspie Christians of North Texas exists to offer individuals on the Autism Spectrum an opportunity to experience Christian fellowship with like-minded believers in a safe environment free of the misunderstandings associated with interactions in which neurotypical Christians are the majority.
