So, (1) I’m impressed with the number of enthusiastic atheists that are OTP, (2) Manuels is great for the ITP crowd — seems like they host many MANY meet ups (I accidentally ended up in an Electric Car one when I was going to a Science Tavern one - in adjacent rooms :), but most importantly

(3) How do I get myself off this thread? :)

I agree, I went to a couple of meetings at the perimeter earlier this year but it was a bit to travel being from the woodstock/marietta border and thus the reason I have not attended any since.  I could also see this reason for forming a splinter group for the Western OTP.

I agree. I'd like to have some meetings north of Atlanta. I actually live in Marietta so that would be a perfect location for me but I wouldn't mind driving to Kennesaw or Woodstock like Vicki mentioned. Anything up this way would be great!

We had a good time at First Sunday. Now I would like suggestions on where to have future meetings. Unlike the meetings in Sandy Springs and Decatur, this one is going to move around.

What is a good neighborhood for future First Saturdays? Buckhead? Roswell? Decatur? Perimeter? Inman Park? Also, should we start at a later time, say, 4 PM? Any ideas for venues? I have quite a few in mind, but am always open to suggestions. Obviously, Thinking Man and 5 Seasons are out. It should be a place that is easy to find, has plenty of parking, and serves alcohol.
