The Visitation of Mary and Elizabeth, the Birth of John the Baptist, the Annunciation to Mary, the Annunciation to the Shepherds, the Slaughter of the Holy Innocents, and the Visitation of the Magi are included in the sequence. Music will feature works of Gregorian chant, motets, and anthems by Victoria, Van Ness, Praetorius, Parsons, Sweelinck, Gibbons, Byrd, Fricker, Clemens non Papa, Walker, Leighton, Weelkes, and Hallock. Schola is privileged to welcome as its special guest, Atlanta’s own John Lemley, who will present the readings.
