Session 2: Manipulating SharePoint Data in Power BI
As Office 365 becomes more widely adopted, the chances of having to integrate SharePoint data as a source in Power BI becomes more of a reality. While importing the data is easy, making it useful and meaningful in Power BI can be convoluted. In this session, we will use the Power BI Desktop Application to explore how to manipulate common SharePoint data types, such multi-value columns, the person field, and date hierarchies. Demos will use SharePoint Online but can also be applied to SharePoint on-premises environments.

Speaker 2:Theresa Eller (Microsoft)
Theresa Eller is a SharePoint and Office 365 Administrator with a passion for customer success. Her diverse background includes degrees in Public Relations and Teaching and Learning with Technology, as well as 20 years of experience providing technical support, training, and project leadership. Theresa is a frequent speaker and blogger in the international SharePoint and Office 365 Community and was recently named a Top SharePoint Influencer of 2018 finalist.
