Join us on for a tour of the Georgia Governor’s Mansion. All of the rooms on the first floor are used for official entertaining. All of the furnishings in the house are considered to be museum quality and makeup one of the finest Federal Period collections (approximately[masked]) in the United States. It is a permanent collection and belongs to the state of Georgia and does not change from one administration to the next.
The tour is a combination of a guided and self guided tour. There are docents stationed in each room to tell you about the collection, but you may go from room to room at your own pace. The mansion is available for touring until 11:30 AM.
Please note: No backpacks or oversized bags are allowed in the Mansion.
Optional lunch to follow at Panera Bread 3714 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta, GA[masked]
