Young Writers Contest

Open to ages 10-18, the Sixth annual Young Writers Contest is open for submissions! Deadline: December 31, 2017 Every year BookLogix hosts this contest to encourage young writers to express themselves and their thoughts through writing and literacy skills. The winner of this contest will become a published author and be awarded with a value of up to $5,000 in publishing services. Entrants will be split into two age groups,10-13 and 14-18 to allow the strongest opportunity to each participant. Participants must submit their manuscripts of 200 pages or less in order to be considered and will be judged on originality, writing skill and audience appeal. Please note, illustrated books, cookbooks, comic books, collections of poems or short stories as well as manuscripts written in other languages, will not be considered.
