AINSA: First meetup: Meet & Greet and Brainstorm!

Hello everyone,

Thanks again for joining this group. I am looking forward to a "hands-on" approach to volunteering and improving our communities as a team. As a side benefit, of course, we'll also be choosing to work across differences to build mutual respect.

I'd like to get everyone together for a first meetup to introduce ourselves and to do some brainstorming.

There's a restaurant I've used for other meetups that has good, inexpensive food and two private rooms that can accommodate 15 or more people easily.

Where:

Hunan Gourmet
6070 Sandy Springs Cir NE
Atlanta, GA 30328

When:

Saturday, March 14th 5:30 PM - 7:45 PM

Agenda:

5:30 - 6:30: Dine, socialize, and get to know each other.
6:30 - 7:45: Brainstorm session!

I will try to bring a whiteboard and sticky notes for people to write down ideas.

great first meet up even though the glasses were taller than expected. :) I think this is a wonderful idea doing volunteer work without being under the banner of Jesus. Count me in

great group! innovative idea of 'bridging the culturo-faith' gap. in this age of globalization, the sooner we learn to bridge the gap and leverage our collective intelligence, the higher our chances of survival.
