Small.JS - Towards a More Modular Future for JavaScript Libraries

Originally, we had a mystery guest scheduled to come this month, but that plan fell through. So....plan B: Toby will talk about Small.JS - a.k.a Towards a More Modular Future for JavaScript Libraries. This talk will go into the reasons why historically it's been hard for open source Javascript library authors to depend on each other's work, how it could be different, how it's changing for the better, and why it matters.

Next, Moses Ngone will give us an introduction to Bower. And then after that, Chris Keen will give a short introduction to Grunt. Hope to see you there.

I finally put my demo files into a repo. Still needs a bit of work to get the grunt-template-html bit where I want it, but for those of you wanting to poke around:

I thought it was a great learning and networking experience and enjoyed getting drinks with those that came after. I'll be back.

Granted, I presented, so I might be a bit bias, but I really liked how our three presentations stacked / built on one another's.

Yeah, and that was totally the result of careful planning in advance.

That's Martin Luther King Day. I plan to be there. But wanted to make sure that you guys didn't schedule it in error.
