What are your favorite subjects regarding science?

In no particular order: Astronomy - both theoretical and observational Space Exploration Physics Evolutionary Developmental Biology Paleontology

Where do you currently get your science news?

Discover New York Times Smithsonian Hayden Planetarium Planetary Society Small group of popular science authors I rely upon greatly

What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?

Two things, seemingly disparate: 1. Direct application - "x" resulted from the science of "y" and it made my life better/made me richer. That only works a little though... much more importantly: 2. Initiatives that instill a sense of wonder or, alternately, save us from certain doom. Remind us of God (i.e., we're walking on the Moon! all of creation is ours to explore!) or save us from imminent threat (i.e., Manhattan Project.)
