What are your favorite subjects regarding science?

Astronomy/Cosmology, evolutionary biology, most other aspects of biology. I also follow theoretical physics, particularly anything that has potential to shed light on cosmological puzzles. Watching the work being done on Quantum Gravity (the various approaches), and fascinated by the article in the most recent Scientific American on this.

Where do you currently get your science news?

Scientific American, Science News magazine, Science Illustrated, various blogs, a couple of podcasts, various science news websites aggregated on a "My Google" page

What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?

Another Carl Sagan, and another prime-time series such as Cosmos. Books are good for people like us, but too many people aren't reading books.


Although my degree is in a non-science field, I've always LOVED all sciences and read/watch/listen to more science-oriented books, magazines, blogs, podcasts, and TV shows than those of my own career field. If I were younger, I would probably go for
