What are your favorite subjects regarding science?

Aerodynamics, electronics, anything involving large transfers of energy, the nature of the mind and thought, astronomy

Where do you currently get your science news?

The web, various magazines

What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?

Mr. Wizard reruns? I'm not sure how to make science more appealing in these days of instant entertainment and gratification.. When I was a kid, science seemed like the closest thing to magic, but there were fewer distractions then, I think.

I'm an engineer by training and have always been fascinated by science. I'm looking to meet some other science lovers in the Atlanta area.
