What are your favorite subjects regarding science?

Evolutionary biology and genetics; particle physics; neuroscience; cosmology, astrophysics and planetary science. Mathematics and computers, too.

Where do you currently get your science news?

BBC Science, Nature News, Science Magazine, the Astronomy Photo of the Day (APoD), Scientific American, the New York Times and a variety of blogs, Twitter account and Facebook pages.

What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?

The best we can do is to communicate the sense of out-and-out wonder that is part and parcel of the scientific enterprise. By sharing our excitement for science with people, especially young people, we can cultivate their interest and appreciation.

I am the Executive Director of the Atlanta Science Tavern.
