I'm also from Glen Eden, I would have to take public transport. According to google, its possible to take a train from Glen Eden to New Lynn, then take the 136 bus to the city, and then walk to Fanshawe St and take the NEX bus to Akoranga station. Quite an adventure. :)

    Hi Anne
I'm happy to come along if I'm not workg Thursday morning but I do live in Glen Eden so is there anyone coming from out this way?

Thanks Marie. Not that I know of but there is good public transport to Akoranga bus station and it is a short walk from there. Be sure to contact Paul Pyper though about where to meet as Tuff Crater is a big place.
