What is your favourite oracle utility or feature?

I guess the RMAN utility still resonates with me more. My first assignment in my first job as a DBA was to implement the Oracle Standby database fail-over solution for all of my employer's corporate clients. East Africa's largest insurance companies. And since they didn't want to incur extra licensing costs that come with Data Guard, I had to incorporate the use of shell scripts to extend its capability.

Introduction

Co-founder and Director of eBonyxSOFT Limited, an SME specializing in Oracle based technologies. Wrote a web-enabled ERP solution for insurance agents, such as banks/brokers, which in turn enables them to underwrite at the level of insurance firms.
