Turoa & Whakapapa - Shred the Snow Weekender

The crew normally stay in Ohakune. You can book your accommodation yourself or we will try and make a group booking to ensure we all stay at the same place. Accommodation prices approx:
Cabins $40 per person per night
Main Lodge $35 per person per night

Snow Riders NZ members have been offered staff rates on drinks at the Turoa Lodge Bar (next door to the Powderkeg.

At the mountain the general guide is to meet for at the main cafe before the lifts open then lunch/drinks at Giant Cafe @ 1pm on the mountain sat/ sun.

If you need rental equipment Snowcentre (Newmarket) will fit you out up here in Auckland. They'll add you to the database with your size and equipment requirements to make you next rental collection quick and easy. Remember they have offered our members free pick up and drop off days for rentals. This means if you leave to go to the mountain on a Friday and return the equipment to the store on Monday you only pay for Saturday and Sunday.

Snowboard & Boots packages start from $25 per day. Ski's start from $25 per day and $32 including boots and poles.

If you want to buy - we have partnered up with Snowcentre in Newmarket, Auckland. They have offered the group 10% off all RRP prices. They have a database with all the registered members. If you are a newbie let me know and I'll send your details through to them.
