This is a community of fitness lovers of all ages and all levels. We meet up to play soccer, volleyball, touch and cricket. We get together for runs, swims, cycles. We do yoga, pilates, SUPing, and boot camp style workouts. And we attend local events and races together.
Workouts are created by the community members (that's YOU!) for the community. So if you have a workout idea ... go ahead and create it! Once three people have expressed interest in joining you, the workout will be announced to the group.
When hosting your own Meetup please follow these basic rules:
1) Host the Meetup at a public place (e.g. meet at a cafe or a popular park) and do not hold it at your house (for safety reasons!) or workplace.
2) Add a head and shoulders photo of yourself and your full name to your profile so that A) people can spot you on the day, and B) there is the added safety component of knowing who's who.
3) Give lots of detail about what you will be doing at the workout, who it is suitable for (fitness levels etc), and what members should bring (soccer balls, weights, yoga mats etc).
