• The evening is part of the North Downs Way Pilgrimage Festival, a week long series of events (bit.ly/PilgrimsFestival).
The theme is "Kent - England's Holy Land? Tales of the Saints who made Kent a centre of English pilgrimage."
The talks are as follows:-
Augustine and his mission - by Father Marcus Holden - Rector of the Shrine of St Augustine Ramsgate
The Kent Royal Legend - by Dr Eleanor Parker - Lecturer in Medieval English Literature at Oxford University
It should last about an hour and a half including time for questions and will finish with a book signing.
Eleanor has a new book out about the Vikings (https://tinyurl.com/y7dfxn5k) and I have just published a guide to the Augustine Camino (http://augustinecamino.co.uk/guidebooks/).
