BigInt Tester

A big integer class written in C#... 'cause I wanted to write a big integer class. Uses 9's complement to do its magic.

Delegate Test

Example of how to use delegates as function pointers.

This file contains the example I'm going to use for my presentation tonight. It's written using Visual Studio 2008 and requires the 3.5 framework.

Here are two example stack classes (one uses a linked list, the other uses an array to store the underlying data). This is simple programming, but it can provide a better understanding of how a language like C# works.

Here's my code swap! It's my first time participating in this group. I had fun with this! Whipped it up in about an hour... Words list is stored in "words.txt". I added a few comments so hopefully someone will learn some things.

This is my hangman...I decided to take a minimalist approach, focusing on brevity/clarity and heavy commenting. It demonstrates some basic controls, custom controls, delegates, etc.

Even more minimal. A console hangman. I borrowed John's word list. Now updated to include class extensions, anonymous functions and closures. Updated to include a "robot" solver.

A simple word list. A few of us used this word list in the Hangman Code Swap and will probably use the same list in the Boggle Code Swap.

Circular Ref Test

Circular Reference Example.

Another busy month so this boggle game is incomplete, but it includes some interesting features. I used WPF this time.

This is an example of using reflection and .Net 3.5 features (lambda expressions & extension methods) for the next meetup. You need VS 2008 to open the project; if the solution doesn't open properly try deleting it and open the project file instead.

Sierpinski WPF

A WPF implementation of the Sierpinski algorithm.

Sierpinski WinForms

A Winforms implementation of Sierpinski.

Sierpinski WinForms GDI

Finally, the Winforms implementation that uses the GDI API to overcome the limitations of .NET. Updated with several optimizations.

The Basic Game. Plan to add a solver and a custom size option. Instead of using GDI to draw grid, I dynamically creat a grid of Tiles based off the button class. Works well, except for a very slow refresh time when changing board sizes. Any Ideas?

Minesweeper II

Update: Fixed the solver by making clearPath() solver-aware. Just for the fun of it, I wrote a Minesweeper clone that includes a solver and much larger custom mine fields. There are a few features that are not yet complete.

Checkers CodeSwap Project: Still having issues with flicker. Enforces rules and has a very primitive AI. I'm not terribly happy with the overall structure. Any feedback would be appreciated. I'd be happy to go over it at the next meetup too.

Basic Yahtzee. This is basic Windows Forms. Code isn't the cleanest, but it works. I plan on cleaning it up and adding more features this weekend.
