What do you most need to succeed in building a hardware technology business in Austin?

Perseverance most of all. A good product concept is important. A keen grasp of the market before you sink big money in. Austin is light on manufacturing, so can be a little challenging acquiring parts on the spot and getting prototypes built.

An original maker. Hardware and firmware-assisted hardware. Sensors. Motors and rotating machinery. Firmware engines with Swiss watch precision. Machining and welding for real stuff, 3D printing for demos and fit checks.
