This weekly event — often called "lab" because we're always experimenting — is a wonderful and low commitment chance to introduce yourself or your friends to the phenomenon of Circling for the first time, as well as a good way to regularly deepen your practice and inquiry into the vivacity of each moment.
What is it:
Monday Circling Lab is an experiment in emergent, self-organizing collective intelligence.
It is a meditation on what it means to be human and to be part of humanity;
a way for us to discover more inclusive and expansive ways of being together;
to align w the impulse of evolution while honoring the perfect wholeness of each unfolding now.
We gather with a willingness to step into the mystery of being truly honest and seeing the innocence and beauty of every expression in every moment.
This environment challenges our assumptions of how to be ourselves and behave with each other; (we've all felt these challenges Monday nights!) the result is a release of creative potential, and long lasting insight into the unconscious habits we've constructed to avoid the raw intimacy of each moments' full expression (and that avoidance is innocent and beautiful as well).
Our guides are five principles, championed by facilitators who model the ever-imperfect practice of letting these principles guide us, gently direct attention to seeing how every share, no matter how unskilled, can be seen as an intelligent expression of our wholeness (including their/our own individual shares as leaders), and can become more potently creative and lovable when seen that way and held with a sense of wonder and curiosity.
We believe that we can train our awareness to recognize this consciousness itself already-always becoming manifest in everything; yet the more our collective becomes aware of this already present-awareness, the more luminous it becomes.
Our curriculum is our relationships; our lessons—though their expressions are infinitely personal—are universal and therefore our doing them together accelerates our (un)learning.
Hope to see you there.
