Board with Books: Online Edition

Online event

Howdy, board game buddies! I miss seeing y'all for our regular library game nights. It remains unclear when we will be able to meet again to play our favorite games. In the meantime, I am going to set up a weekly event to enable folks to connect remotely. You can use the comment section to chat with other group members and set up a video conference and then meet on one of a number of free online board game platforms. So far we have been using boardgamearena.com. I recommend setting up an account and going through the tutorial before the event if you are new. Teaching games remotely can be a bit of a challenge. Here are some of the games that we've been playing so far if you'd like to read the rules or watch a learn-to-play video before joining: 6 Nimmt!, 7 Wonders, and Incan Gold. There are those who play regularly who will post a link to a service where all players can communicate while playing. Check the comments section around 5:55 and join in. If no one has posted a link, feel free to do so at that time. I hope this provides a fun substitute until we can meet again.
