The Quran Club for Women, based in Austin, Texas , is a forum that brings together learners of the Quran from diverse backgrounds. The club also welcomes participants who are curious about the Quran and are eager to know what it contains. Quran says this about itself: "This is a book in which there is no doubt, a guide for those who seek to piety."

The club meets once every month. The club sticks to Quranic topics and themes , but invites participation on the basis of all the books read, experiences lived and feelings held. It is about getting personal with the Quran.  Diversity is the conceptual idea behind the club and hence, the club is a forum that invites respectful listening and sensitivity. But the demands of a free conscience that Quran expects from its readers will have a central role as well. This invites free thinking, honesty and knowledge. In the balance between the two, we will learn the etiquette of dialogue, which has also been taught in the Quran.

All in all, its a place to find spiritual insights, share knowledge and gain understanding of how others interpret the Quran. Understanding becomes the background for love and friendships.
