Sierra Club Spring Picnic

The Zilker Rock Garden is on the hill north of the Barton Springs Pool bath house, adjacent to (northeast of) the Zilker Hillside Theatre

Join the Austin Sierra Club for our annual potluck picnic at Zilker Rock Garden Picnic Area.  There will not be a formal meeting, just a great meal with like-minded folks with plenty of visiting and conversation. Everyone is welcome, members and guests alike. Bring a favorite dish to share and a serving utensil. We will supply plates, silverware, cups, ice, and water.  Zilker Park prohibits alcohol, styrofoam, and glass containers.

Please consider biking, carpooling, or taking Cap Metro (Route 30) to the event.

We must have just missed each other Don. A bit breezy but the tables are in good shape and it's not muddy. Should be fun.

Unfortunately, I will be at a conference in town. If I had a clone, one of us would do each. :-)

Considering it's predicted to be rainy w/ possible lightning and 10-15 degrees cooler, is there a secondary location or will it be rescheduled?

    May 12, 2014

    • Don C.

The bad weather is scheduled for Mon night. It should be gone by early Tues afternoon.

      May 12, 2014

The forecast for Tuesday is still very iffy. 90% of rain during the day and dropping to 15% by 6 PM. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
