We have some high points to include in this hike. We'll head up into the tranquil, tree lined bluffs of Bull Creek and hike along the bluff ridge.
Parts of this hike are challenging. You must have the ability to hike up steep hills with elevation gains of 150 - 200 feet. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are required. Tennis shoes or other footwear will not provide enough traction on the decent. Long pants are recommended.
Join us for an intermediate 5 mile hike along Bull Creek. The Bull Creek watershed includes limestone seeps, springs, waterways, scenic cliffs and waterfalls.
Hike Difficulty: You must have the ability to hike vigorously for 5 miles and be able to keep up with the group. Be prepared to climb over fallen trees and up rock ledges with 3 foot risers. We will cross the creek multiple times. The hike will take approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Sturdy hiking shoes are highly recommended. Bring plenty of water and a snack.
Join us for lunch afterwards.
Dogs are no longer permitted along this portion of Bull Creek.
The club appreciates a donation of a few dollars.
