How long have you been a tea lover?

Well I have always prefered tea to coffee. I started liking loose leaf tea about 6 years ago when my mother got into it, but school did not afford a great environment for tea enthusiasm. Last year I really picked up my tea consumption again, and I might be a little obsessed.

What are some of your favorite types of teas?

Jasmine green tea is probably one of my all time favorites because it takes me back to childhood and visiting the Japanese Tea Garden in San Fran. I love greener oolongs for afternoon consumption and black tea for my morning pick me up.

What are some of your favorite spots around town for tea?

I am kind of new to Austin so I don't really know all the hot spots yet and I was hoping this group could introduce me to those places as well as other tea fanatics.

My name is Skylar, and I have recently moved to Austin from Houston and I kind of love tea!
