Let's take a slower pace, and learn how to setup a headless Raspberry Pi. We'll cover setting up the SD card, connecting to the Pi for the first time, and doing the basic setup. All without connecting a keyboard or monitor to the Raspberry Pi.
For this demo, I'll be using the following:
USB to TTL Serial Cable - https://www.adafruit.com/product/954
Raspberry Pi 4 - https://www.adafruit.com/product/4295
Apple 12W USB Charger - https://smile.amazon.com/Apple-Power-Adapter-iPhone-iPad/dp/B00A83I8G2/
Anker USB Type-C cable - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071G5YCS6/
32GB MicroSD card - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B073JWXGNT
Please note that these items are simply what I will be using. We will discuss why I chose these items, and how to select the correct items for yourself. Any model of Raspberry Pi can be used. A minimum of 4GB SD card is required, and I strongly recommend class 10 rated card at minimum.
The folks at Pok-E-Jo's are nice enough to let us use the room for free, so please show our thanks by coming hungry and ordering dinner. https://pokejos.com/
