Social Time

Darla McDonnell with Congress Avenue Kayaks is hosting this event.

I think I heard pizza will be provided.

BYOB

Parking downtown can be a challenge. I would suggest parking anywhere along the trail and hiking. Head to the Four Seasons and the event is just past the hotel. You will walk right into the picnic tables and Austin Rowing Center. Leave your kayak at home this time and enjoy the view.

Same bat time, same bat channel Sept. 28. Good to see everyone.

Lots of shade trees. Excellent pizza, fruit and cheese. Bats came out early and wowed us. Social time happens once a month.

Hi I'm new to this group; is this a kayaking event that is not happening in kayaks?

See you Sunday!. If this is your first time to see the rowing center I would suggest you get there early, order a drink from the coffee shop and soak up some goodness. You wont be disappointed.

Super, looking forward to it. Parking-wise, parking meters free at the Mexican American Cultural Center at 600 River Street unless there's some big event going on - I'll check.

Beautiful location. You could choose to park at Joe's Crab Shack and paddle across town lake to the dock.
