Monthly gaming session in Jollyville

Note: This discussion is also posted in the Central Texas Boardgaming group.

I played Twilight Imperium at a friends house not long ago and enjoyed it quite a bit. I've since got a copy, but have not yet had a chance to play as I don't know many people in Austin who are interested in a game. I was hoping I could pique the interest of a few people (hopefully those who have played before) who would want to play a game, perhaps on a Sunday afternoon. I've enough room to host and live near Anderson Mill Rd and 183. If it worked out well, I'd be open to making it a regular occurrence with TI or other games. Feel free to comment. Thanks!

Sounds great Nich. You can propose a specific time and place for any event and I will be glad to approve. I haven't played Twilight Imperium yet, but I am a big Eclipse fan. Eclipse has most often been described as a lighter version of TI. I might want to learn TI myself.

I'll do that. If just 2 more people are interested, it should be enough to play. I was hoping someone who is a bit experienced with the game can help guide us noobs through, but if not, I'll just re-read the instructions. ;)

Ahhh, TI noobs. You may want to invite Sten to come and teach. Drop him a line.
