Picnic at the Symphony - This weekend - Woodwinds

Come out and join us for free Symphony music, sunset & and extreme picnicing!

This is a weekly event through the end of the schedule.

Where to find our group - If you are coming from the top of the stairs facing downtown, we are on the right about 1/3 of the way back. If you are coming from Riverside facing the Long center, look left on the grass. You should find some red tables set up and extreme picnic gear. I will try to have a red balloon weekly - but if not, trust me, we are easy to spot ;).

Here is a link to a map. See where it says Yelp Folks - that is where to find us.

This is a great Summer sunset symphony tradition. Enjoy the beautiful Hartman Foundation Park just off the terrace of the Long Center, which serves as a stage, at sunset.

Pack a picnic, some wine, bring a blanket and your chill self for a fun Summer Sunday evening Austin tradition. Even though summer tends to be hot, the hour and the location are generally temperate with a light breeze. Not much of a picnic maker, bring takeout from one of your favorite haunts and compliment it with your own beverages.

Dog and Kid Friendly.

Fantastic evening, as usual. We had about 20 people last night and were the last to leave the park. Just 3 weeks left. BTW - some fantastic dishes last night - Letti's Ceviche, Jen's Margarita Cupcakes & Cantaloupe salad, Lyn's Texas Caviar, fabulous cheeses, great wines. It was a perfect night.

Looking forward to this evening. I see some new folks RSVP's (new = have not joined us at Symphony). Please either print the map with the link above to find us, OR look for the red star mylar balloon and red tables. If you are facing the Long Center from Riverside, we are on the left.
