Games Night - Truth

This coming games night we'll be exploring Truth.  We have a great combination of fun moments that will have you laughing, intimate moments that will have you get to know each other better and edgy moments that will test your willingness to tell the truth!

Games Night is an opportunity to grow and explore yourself, others, and authentic communication and connection. We provide a safe container with guided "games" that exercise different ways of interacting with a goal of giving you the opportunity to push your edge into places you usually dare not go. In these places you may discover it's okay to share how you really feel, it's okay to share where your attention really is, and it's okay to share other spicy edgy yet somehow satisfying and connecting truths of your reality. All this is done in the spirit of building deeper more authentic connections and relationships.

Doors Open at 7:15. Evening starts at 7:30 (sharp!) and doors are closed at about 7:45 (or whenever we begin the Agreements).

Reminder: The requested contribution is $10-15. This contribution will be requested upon entry to the studio. Please talk to us in advance if the cost to attend is prohibitive – no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Awesome! I went in feeling defeated and hopeless and left having had several really nice moments of connection, rediscovering/recovering my own essence and feeling hopeful about the world. It doesn't get much better than that. Oh yeah it does-- also left with more energy than when I entered!

It was interesting to experience the release of some truths about others and myself... Thank you.

Lovely! A place where I go to feel pure freedom to be myself and explore how that changes!

Won't be able to make it after all. Hoped to feel better by now, but not enough :-(. So, someone else will be the lucky person to benefit from my spot. Enjoy the games everyone.

John Lennon must have been feeling a bit cynical when he said:
"I've had enough of watching scenes
    Of schizophrenic, ego-centric, paranoiac, prima-donnas
All I want is the truth now
    Just gimme some truth"

I am going to be in Cincinnati.
My interview was a success. Aero Space Equipment Mfg. could be in my future goals...in fact, they all ready are....HmmM?

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's not, "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth", unless it is grounded in compassion

I'm sorry I'm not following you, can you clarify? Vitamins and carrots can bring up many different things for me. Thanks cause I really want to get what you are saying.

why don't we continue the conversation in person? That might be easier. Thanks for being interested :)

I've been a seeker of truth for a long, long time. It's an intimately personal journey. I'd venture to guess that this game night will challenge us to find the courage to tell, "our own personal truths" I've seen some creative, insightful and impressive relating games come through our leaders. This game night could be a very good one.

I'm hoping attending Authentic Portland events will allow me to be more authentic and build deeper and longer lasting relationships with others.
