The Automotive Security Research Group Bucharest (ASRG-BUC) is a non-profit initiative to promote the development of security solutions for automotive products.

GOALS:
- Research projects on publicly available vehicles, infrastructure and supporting backend systems.
- Information sharing concerning existing automotive security problems, solutions, products and technology.
- Create meaningful results to be shared with the public in a controlled manner.
- Create a community of shared resources and networking.

Security Risk Assessments - Methods, Practical Experience and Best-Practices

Join us for our upcoming ASRG-WORLD LiveStream, the global online (COVID19 Approved) version of ASRG. This time we have the pleasure of hosting Daniel Angermeier (Deputy head of the Product Protection & Industrial Security department at Fraunhofer AISEC). The presentation provides a motivation for security risk assessments in the Automotive development lifecycle and gives a quick overview of security risk assessment methods in general. The Modular Risk Assessment (MoRA) method is then shown in greater detail. Finally, practical experience with typical challenges and best-practice solutions to these challenges is presented.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Daniel Angermeier: Daniel is Deputy head of the Product Protection & Industrial Security department at Fraunhofer AISEC. His work focuses on security engineering, in particular the development and adaptation of methods for secure system development as well as their application for customers. Furthermore, he develops protection concepts to adequately secure cyber-physical systems.
