Skip the Small Talk at Aeronaut Brewing Company
TICKET LINK: Do you wish you could have more of the kinds of conversations you have late at night where for some reason, you feel safe talking about the things you actually care about? Bring your friends (or come by yourself) and spend your Wednesday night at an event where you know everyone else is there for the same reason. We'll be offering cards with "big talk" conversational questions on them to get you started. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" "What's one part of your life that you wish you could give more attention to? What's getting in the way of you giving more attention to it?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you some structure and ground rules to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe sharing as much of themselves as possible. We'll strive to provide a space where you can push your comfort zone in talking openly while still feeling in complete control of how much you divulge. Ashley, a phone volunteer at a suicide hotline, will be available to talk if tough subjects come up. Close to the beginning of the event, we will organize a PIZZA DELIVERY from Caesar's Pizza and Subs for anyone who wants to order pizza at the event. They have very generously offered us an awesome group discount, so it'll come down to $1.50 per slice of cheese and $2.00 per slice of pepperoni! Bring cash accordingly! We are not allowed to be directly involved in the ordering process due to city-wide food regulations, but we will help bring together anyone who is interested in ordering food and have an STST volunteer help out. You are also invited to bring your own dinner or eat beforehand or afterward-- no pressure, everyone will be doing their own thing! We will also have an alternative menu available for Momo n Curry if you would like to order something different on your own and don't know much in the area, and you can always order from anyplace you like on your own. Alcohol will be available onsite! Since this is at a brewery, the event is 21+. Aeronaut Brewing Company is wheelchair accessible. Check-in for this event will begin around 5:30 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 6 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible. Ready to skip the small talk with us? Here's the suggested donation link since entry is on a first come first serve basis-- once we are out of tickets, we will not be able to accommodate folks at the door: Want to keep up with our events? Like us at! If you want to be the first to get access to tickets, join our mailing list at (don't worry, we hate mailing lists, too-- we only e-mail when we have something useful to tell you about). FYI that Meetup might say that "you're going" if you RSVP as "going," but you'll need a ticket if we end up selling out in advance (and we've sold out for every event so far). Hope to have you there!

What we're about

Hello, Awesome Bostonians!

Who are we? We are a group of 20 and 30-somethings looking for new friends, new adventures, and a renewed sense of fun. Live in Boston or in the area? We'd love to meet you!

What do we do? We go on tours, go to festivals, athletic events, wine tastings, concerts, hiking, trivia nights, happy hours and more! Suggestions for fun events are always recommended!

Some events have an associated fee, which is always stated in the event description.
