Satsangha is a special program with Acharya Shunya in which profound and authentic teachings from Vedanta, Ayurveda and/or Yoga are explored deeply. For more information, please go to: http://vedikaglobal.o...
We chant opening mantras at 6:15pm, so please plan arriving by 6pm. Or, if you'd like to partake of dinner at 5:45pm, you are welcome to do so, but you would need to RSVP at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we buy/cook enough food for everyone. For first-time guests, the program is by-donation, and the dinner is $5.
Please note: We often observe silence during the dinner and the program (except for Q & A). So there is much less opportunity for socializing, and that is why we don't make it an official meetup persay. The silence helps for mananam or svadhyaya (self-study) as we reflect how these timeless teachings are relevant to our everyday lives. When we are quiet, our outer layers become more permeable and wisdom can be absorbed more easily. We live in a noisy world and many people find the opportunity to be in silence for a few hours a rare opportunity.

We also have a Google Group specific to these Satsanghas -- if you are interested in that, just inquire when you RSVP.
Guests: Please remember to RSVP at least 24 hours in advance.
