Do you practice art, science, or art/science?

I've got a neuroscience background and support our scientists by developing software applications. Am currently interested on bringing interactive visualization and perhaps immersive projection into the mix, which also ties in nicely with artistic expression. Have worked a bit on the latter but am interested in meeting more artists with whom I might collaborate in the future.

Are there any specific organizations, businesses, Meetups, or collaboratives you think we should know about?

SF Bay Area 3D Vision & Kinect Hacking

What topics would you like to see addressed/explored by both artists, scientists, or both?

The satisfying blurring of internal and external reality through technology. Oh, and flying cars...

Software engineer at UCSF, interested in interactive visual performance.
