This walk has lots of options but I am aiming to be back in Hassocks for 1pm and hope a few of you might want to join me at the amazing mama Ghanoushe cafe after the walk which closes at 2pm.
    http://www.mamaghanoushe.co.uk
otherwise the Proper Coffee shop has excellent coffee and cakes, Purple Carrot cafe near the station or you could choose to stop in Ditching for a pub lunch.
If you would prefer a shorter walk of 4 1/2 miles or so meet us at Ditching village carpark but please let me know to look for you there.
This walk in mid July was very wet without a single glimpse of the Downs so I thought I would try mid winter instead but please come expecting some muddy patches!
