Listed start time is 9 am but you can go as early as 8 am to train. I am normally there around 8:30 am. Please let me know if you plan to be there earlier. Sessions can run from 1.5 to 2+ hours, depending on how crowded the gym is and your motivation.
Come train with us on Saturday morning at the new Yokkao gym in Asoke. This is your chance to train with champions! This session is great for those who already have some muay thai or combat sports experience, but beginners are welcome as well (please note in the comments section).
Below is an example of the training schedule we've had previously here (but adaptable to your ability):
• warm up run or jumping rope
• shadow boxing
• heavy bags
• kicking/punching pads for a minimum of 3 rounds for 4 minutes each
• sparring/clinching (if you are ready)
• whatever else the trainers decide to throw at you for the day!
The gym is fully equipped and has locker rooms with showers. Wear comfortable workout gear and bring a towel for sweat. You will need to bring your own wraps or buy a pair from the gym (400 baht); you can borrow gloves at the gym. You should bring sneakers for a warm up run (can also jump rope) but you will be barefoot for the training sessions. I recommend bringing a (big) bottle of water with you to the gym, there is a 7-Eleven on the way from the BTS station. Drop-in fee for classes is 500 baht, but if you come with us it's only 400 baht.

We plan to meet at the gym but if you would like to meet at the BTS I'm sure some of you can discuss below to arrange to meet there and walk over.
