Ruthie & Connie: Every Room in the House (Updated)

The well-loved documentary about BLAST members Ruth Berman and Connie Kurtz has been expanded with new footage, and is being shown as part of the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival as a recognition and celebration of June as LGBT Pride month.


SYNOPSIS     
They're Jewish, they're grandmothers, and they're lesbians.  Deborah Dickson's powerful and intimate documentary, first shot in 2002, has been expanded and now includes footage following their legal marriage in New York City. This is a powerful film of their 52+ years together - first as friends and neighbors, then as long-term lovers and activists, and finally now as legally married spouses.  

COST & TIME: $8/ticket - Film Society members get in free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance by phone with a credit card at[masked]-7527.      The box office will be set up in front of the Social Hall inside the JCC at 6pm, and the film will be shown at 7pm.

Ruth and Connie will lead a discussion and Q&A session.

    I really want to go.. I am very lucky to have seen their Video. My Partner Lynn adored this two wonderful Ladies and partners... I will be up in Long Island at Lynn's Unveiling June 8th.. My heart breaks to do this. Lynn and I were together for 39 years.. She passed away June 17th 2013.. It broke my heart.. I urge all of you to go, to see this movie, its the best movie ever about two gay women, You will Laugh, You will cry.
    and then you get to meet these two beautiful people who I shall Cherish all my life.. You will be their friends for life... Please all go.... Go for me... I will be back on the10th so maybe I can go to that one in Palm Beach Gardens... Thanks Enjoy everyone..
