Zoë Lewis House Concert

  • This location is shown only to members

  • As part of Toni Jr. & Tracy Baim's annual Lesbian Capricorn Festivities, Empty Closet Productions invites you to an intimate evening of gypsy jazz, jump jive, Latin grooves, swing, international folk, and fun on keyboard and spoons. This special house concert for BLAST members will feature one long set followed by hang-out time with Zoë.

This "band in a body" has worked with the Indigo Girls, Judy Collins, Nancy Griffiths, Richie Havens, and pretty much all of the big women's music stars at various festivals and on Olivia cruises. She's even opened for Pat Benatar on the ukulele! Originally from the UK, Zoë has called Cape Cod home for the last 20 years. She's performed all over the world, picking up musical grooves and stories along the way, and has won numerous songwriting awards. She's written film scores and two musicals, the most recent being Across the Pond. Her songs have appeared in commercials, on Broadway, and one even hit #1 on the children's satellite radio chart. She leads a 1920s Speakeasy featuring Prohibition-era jazz - Zoë Lewis and the Bootleggers. She has released six albums so far, including the newest, Rotary Phone
