Each month, join Manatee Lagoon’s Manatee Masters and an expert speaker for a lecture to learn about a new topic. Today: "The Wonders of Walking Sharks."
Manatee Master and FAU graduate student Andrea Hernandez will talk about epaulette sharks and how they are adapted for walking underwater. She will also take a deeper look at different forms of locomotion in sharks, and why it’s important to understand shark body shape and movement.
Free, but advance registration is strongly recommended.
In addition to RSVPing here on the BLAST site, Manatee Lagoon requests you advance register so they can tracking the number of expected visitors and plan for seating. Use this link: https://visitmanateelagoon.doubleknot.com/registration/register.aspx#
