SYNOPSIS
Singer, songwriter, and social activist Holly Near has been performing for more than 50 years, and in the process helped to create what Gloria Steinem called, "The first soundtrack of the women's movement." From sold-out shows to famous stages to million-person peace marches, this career-spanning new documentary elevates Holly to her deserved status of iconic artist and activist. Features interviews with Ronnie Gilbert, Jane Fonda, and others. Produced by Donna Korones and Jim Brown. (2019. 63 minutes)
