First Brooklyn Future Y+30 Meetup: July 10 or 11

From: mike t
Sent on: Sunday, June 10, 2012 8:55 PM

Our first meetup will be finalized for July 10 or 11 shortly. The tentative topic is Space Commercialization with Howard Bloom as guest speaker. Howard is the author of several provocative books - Genius of the Beast, Global Brain, The Lucifer Principle and the upcoming God Problem. He is a leader in the movement to position space solar as a cheap renewable solution to our energy needs. Long-time members will recall his well attended keynote several years ago. His site is:  Our venue will probably be Pacific Standard on 82 Fourth Avenue in South Park Slope/Gowanus. It is convenient to several trains.

Space is limited to about 35, so we urge you to rsvp shortly after it is officially announced. Please be sure your rsvp is solid, as chronic no-shows and late cancellations will be dropped from the group. Stay tuned for an official announcement soon!
