Upcoming Brooklyn Futurist Meetups/Seeking Visual Analytics & Big Data Speaker Ideas

From: mike t

We are close to finalizing dates for two Brooklyn Futurist events:

September 25 – The Future of The Oceans with Aaron Hirsh – Author of the new Telling Our Way to The Sea:   Aaron’s book already made the list of this week’s “Hot Reads” for The Daily Beast, and Publishers Weekly’s Best New Books for the Week of August 5th!

To be interviewed by Nautilus magazine editor Lina Zeldovich.

October 2 – The Future of the Lowline with co-founders Dan Barash and James Ramsey. Transformation of an abandoned LES underground train yard into a vibrant public space, featuring breakthrough solar technology.

With these near set, the Share Economy will likely be shifted to early 2014.

For my day job, I’m seeking the best known, high visibility speakers on big data, visual analytics or reaching the millenials. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Email me at [address removed]    Ideas leading to a booking will be rewarded financially.
