Robotics is the branch of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering and computer science that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.
A robot is a mechanical or virtual artificial agent, usually an electro-mechanical machine that is guided by a computer program or electronic circuitry.
Robots may fall under several categories: Industrial; Personal; Modular; Aerial/Automotive and many more. It is envisioned that robots will be part of our day to day routine.
