I am starting to get back into hosting some endurance climbing rides that we have not done for a while. The first is Lytle Creek. It is an out n back. There are several spots where we can regroup for water or restroom.
This ride is intended for A and B riders. The climb is between 4 to 6% much of the way but the last 3 miles are kind of brutal and have been known to give cramps to those that under hydrate. It is a 20 mile climb and therefore a 20 mile descent through Lytle Creek can be very fast without a head wind as it has only gentle sweeping bends.
On the way down we will regroup at the Valero gas station at Lytle Creek Rd and Sierra Ave. (a 10 mile stretch of YE HAWWWW).
